
About Nicole
Nicole Lawrence, Clinical Psychologist
BA(Psych), GradCertTD,
PGDipPsych, MClinPsych.
Nicole completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Queensland in 2001. She then worked in frontline and management roles in community mental health, disability services and child protection, in the UK and Australia. Nicole completed further training in psychology, while living and working in regional Queensland, graduating with a Post Graduate Diploma in psychology in 2010, and a Masters degree in clinical psychology from CQ University in 2012. Nicole has worked as a clinical psychologist in private practice since.
Nicole’s approach is to work collaboratively with clients, honouring their position as the expert in their own lives. Nicole uses a range of therapies in her practice, including, feedback-informed treatment, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion focused therapy and psychodynamic therapies.
With a special interest in the wellbeing and development of professionals working in health and human services, Nicole completed a Graduate Certificate in Training and Development at Griffith University in 2007. Nicole has worked in training and development roles in NGOs and the public sector.
Nicole is a registered psychologist and board approved supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
